What is the history of dachshunds?

Back then,600 years ago in Germany,these precious pups were very popular at the time.They were usually prized for their size, tracking ability, and their temperament. They were nicknamed hot dog, little hot dog, or sausage dog. People lost a little interest in this breed. In the 1900s,they became popular again.
